| Ah, the lazy days of summer. I am enjoying this perk of being a teacher. While still busy I don't have to actually work all summer. Say it with me now, "Hello beach!" If anyone wants to join me, just let me know! | | |
| So, five months, I suppose that's pretty close to dead in the computer world. Don't worry, I'm alive, I just forget about xanga most days. Quick update: I'm still teaching 4th grade. I finally have my own apartment. I just visited the very rainy Pacific Northwest for my Spring Break. My parents are going to Germany in June and my dad refuses to pack me in his suitcase. Other than that my world is pretty boring. I spend most of my time grading papers! | | |
| I realized yesterday that as far as communication with people I love goes I have practically fallen off the face of the earth. I also realized why all my friends who are teachers never emailed me when I was living in Germany. This first year of teaching has been wonderful so far, but I feel like most days I am barely keeping my head above water. I am having to re-learn things in order to teach them and so most days I have more homework than my students. Every time they complain about how much homework I've given them I want to say "we could trade" but I know that attitude is wrong so I'm fighting it. I know it is nearing Christmas break for many of you. Feel blessed, we have 3 more weeks here, getting out on December 22nd. I am looking forward to this holiday, mainly for sleep reasons, but I am looking forward to it nonetheless. Have a great week! Titus 2:11-14 Megan | | |

From my favorite walk in the whole wide world. I miss it dearly.
| It's raining, It's pouring, Ernesto is coming. I'm going to bed, with a pillow over my head because there's no school in the morning!
Yep, Hurricane Ernesto's eminent landfall and possible path right through the heart of Polk County (that's me) has had the wonderful result of a day with no school. My predictions: it'll be the prettiest day all month!
